Having alignment problems when you print?

If you are having alignment problems when printing — usually the cards overlap vertically. The best solution is to make sure Adobe Acrobat is not resizing the image. There are different versions of Acrobat, but the instructions below should guide you in the correct direction.

Once you are looking at the image of the cards in Acrobat:

1. Go to the file menu and select “Print…”
2. Look for anything referring to “Page Scaling”. Make sure it’s set to “none” as opposed to “Fit to paper” or “Expand small pages to paper size” or “shrink large pages”. This might entail changing a drop-down menu setting or possibly unchecking some checkboxes.

That’s it. You should print cleanly now, though you still might want to consider printing a test sheet on regular paper first if you’re going to use Avery’s Business Card Sheets.
